{"id":758,"date":"2014-09-13T22:26:46","date_gmt":"2014-09-13T21:26:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/moononastick.com\/blog\/?p=758"},"modified":"2014-09-13T22:26:46","modified_gmt":"2014-09-13T21:26:46","slug":"my-favourite-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/moononastick.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/my-favourite-game\/","title":{"rendered":"My Favourite Game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I <strong>love<\/strong> &#8220;My Favourite Game&#8221; by The Cardigans.\u00a0Fantastic song, and I remember the video well.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=JsMUQK4jdsQ<\/p>\n<p>Where many music videos went\u00a0over the top in an effort to stand out\u00a0(don&#8217;t get me wrong; there were of course\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=4JkIs37a2JE\">some\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6oqXVx3sBOk\">cracking\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=s5FyfQDO5g0\">ones<\/a>\u00a0at the time) this one stood out because of\u00a0its simplicity. Just Nina Persson, looking smoking hot and cool as anything, doing nothing but singing and driving. And it was bloody brilliant. Almost like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iUiTQvT0W_0\">Nothing Compares 2 U<\/a>\u00a0in its simplicity, but this made\u00a0you want to party rather than slit your wrists.<\/p>\n<p>So I was very surprised when I went looking for it on YouTube today to find this video:<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Qq-I4orlEhE<\/p>\n<p>It <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/My_Favourite_Game#Music_video\">turns out<\/a>\u00a0that\u00a0the original video was a lavish, car-crash studded epic, which cost \u00a3220,000 to make.
